Single points of failure
One server, one link, one power supply: when something critical has no backup, its failure stops the whole operation. We introduce redundancy where the impact justifies it.
Obsolescence
Hardware and software age and fall out of support. Without a plan, renewal always arrives late and in a rush. We work to a predictable refresh schedule, not to emergencies.
Security by neglect
