What sets enterprise software apart from other development?
It is not the size of the code, but the demands of the environment. Enterprise software supports business-critical processes with many concurrent users, many integrations and strict requirements for availability, security, audit and compliance. A failure is not an annoyance: it stops the business. That is why it is designed as systems engineering, with redundancy, observability and load testing from the start.
Can you modernise a legacy system without stopping operations?
Yes, and it is the norm. We avoid the "big bang" of rewriting everything at once. We use the strangler pattern: we build the new around the old and migrate module by module, with both coexisting throughout the transition. Operations never stop and risk is split into small, verifiable phases.
How do you guarantee availability and security?
Availability is designed in: redundancy, failover, zero-downtime deploys, proactive monitoring and a disaster-recovery plan that we rehearse rather than assume. Security is present from day one with RBAC access control, single sign-on, encryption in transit and at rest, least privilege and periodic audits. Both are agreed as measurable targets with SLAs.
Does it comply with GDPR and ISO 27001?
Yes. We design with privacy from the start: data minimisation, access control, encryption and an immutable audit log. We align the platform with GDPR and ISO 27001 practices, and sign the data-processing agreements required. In regulated sectors, we adapt the design to the specific requirements.
Does it integrate with SAP, Dynamics or other corporate systems?
Yes. An enterprise platform rarely lives in isolation. We integrate with SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, your CRM, databases and third parties through robust APIs, events and a stable integration layer. The goal is to end the silos and keep master data synchronised, not duplicated.
How long does an enterprise software project take?
It depends on scope and criticality, but we work in phases to deliver value early rather than waiting years for one big launch. A first useful phase —a modernised module, a portal, an integration— is usually in production within months, and the platform grows from there with transparent budgeting.
