Frequently asked questions

When is custom software better than off-the-shelf?
Custom software makes sense when the process is a differentiator, complex, or does not fit a standard tool. Off-the-shelf is better when the need is common and mature. In many cases the optimal choice is to integrate and extend what you already have, not replace it. Before recommending anything, we assess your case honestly.
How much does development cost and how long does it take?
It depends on scope, but we work in phases: we define an MVP that delivers value early and grow from there, with transparent budgeting and no surprises. A first useful version is usually ready in weeks or a few months, not years.
Which technologies do you use?
We choose technology to fit the problem —web, mobile, cloud, data— favouring mature, maintainable tools with a solid community. We avoid fragile trends that age badly. The criterion is always that the system stays easy to operate and evolve years down the line.
Do I own the code and the intellectual property?
Yes. The code is yours: we hand over the repository, the documentation and the knowledge you need so you never depend on a single vendor. We design against vendor lock-in, not for it.
How do you guarantee quality and maintenance?
With automated testing, code review, continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) and observability in production. We also agree a support and evolution plan so the software keeps improving continuously and safely.
Can you work with my team and my existing systems?
Yes. We integrate with your team and your stack, and design to connect with what you already use (ERP, CRM, databases, third parties). We can lead the project end to end or reinforce your in-house team.
